Sweet Sun

A Sweet Sun is a grilled slice of pineapple that is covered all over with crushed nuts. The pineapple caramelizes and becomes hot and sticky when being grilled, but after it has been covered with the nuts and has cooled down a bit, it can be held and eaten without getting your fingers covered in a warm syrupy sugary mess. This makes Sweet Suns a perfect fingerfood popular at festivals.
