Tob

Tob looms over most, muscled lean and defined from use. Tob's sharp features are off putting at first, through the general honesty in their eyes puts that nervousness to rest. Their hands are callused and rough, evidence of his work. While not a naturally jovial person, they do appreciate a well crafted story or pun, enjoying listing to others while they work on whatever project caught their fancy in the moment. Others would never label them as disorganized, sporadic possibly. They never have less than 3 current, extremely diverse projects going on in their workshop, the same workshop which he rarely ever leaves.

Those who meet them find them in woodsheds and forges, working diligently on a project with rapt attention. People say never speak first, wait in the silence and learn all you can. When Tob final does speak, do not interrupt, no matter how varied or contradictory they may sound. If they offer you a change to work with them, take it. Learn from it. Grow from it. An opportunity like this does not come again. When the time comes, leave quietly, without a word. Take the book left at the door for you, remember what you have learned, even if you don't understand it yet.

Holy Books & Codes

His books are simple, hand written with care and dedication. They are hand-bound in leather or thick paper or some other, unidentifiable, material. People have compiled these notes to make some of the largest, technological advancements in the west.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Their symbol is a hammer, as all good builders is, but occasionally their tokin changes into the tool he is currently working with. All good forges have this etched above their gates and their forges, and some say it brings creative genius to those who meditate on it.

Tenets of Faith

Tob requires little of his followers, not wishing to box them in and hinder and progress or creation or skills they may develop. His only requirement, the only thing that if broken can drive him to furious, destructive anger, is lying. Honesty is the only policy, the only thing he will accept when spoken.

Holidays

Tobchakung is held on the 20th of Amethyst. The day is devoted to crafting things and skill building. The day is also a time where people can get lies and grievances off their chest without being too worried about retribution. In some places, those that worship and follow Tob more diligently, lying on Tobchakung is a punishable offense.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Tob only wants to create things. There is simplicity in creation, a truth that is unhindered by the greed and lies of those who desire more.
