Pakú

Those who carry the Pakú title are daughters of the Thotthä exclusivly. They cary the weight of royalty on their backs, supporting the leading royals and becoming an example to the people.

Expectations

Each member of the royal family, including the Pakú, must live as examples for their people. Behaving ocordingly, not lying, being kind, gernerous, intelligent. To wear the finest clothes and lead fashion trends throughout the nation. This streaches deeper than just normal behaviour, unfortunately. Many people wrongly hold Pakúet up as the epitome of perfection and grace. They are expected to marry someone of an approproate rank and family status. This expectation has caused many problems between the family and the people, serving even to ostricize the Pakú from the people.

Sheltering

There is also an unfounded idea that they are weak and need protecting against anything and anyone, sheltering them from the entire outside world. This has led most Pakú to long for freedom from their places, even if it negates all their wealth and fame in the process. For most this is just a fanticful idea locked away for when they stare wistfully out the window.

Since they lack external entertainment, they turn inward to amuse themselves. Most Pakú are avid readers, absolutly in love with the written word. Some even write their own stories and publish them under a fake name just for something to do. Others learn to creat things, from mechnical devices to clothes to jewelry. They also become game experts, especially with games that require strategy or intellect, going up against their own siblings to prove their suppiriority.
