Athis

While the Arames is in charge of external affairs and commanding the public eye, the Athis works behind the scenes to protect and aid the Arames  when needed, potentially stepping in if the Arames cannot preform their duties.

Qualifications

The Athis is elected for their deeds, just like the Arames. They are well liked and have a deep understanding of both the inner workings of the government and Triton and Arachne culture.

Requirements

Any who desire to run for office must be at least 30 years of age and have been born in Endmane. They must have a head and heart for service and strategy, able to aid their Arames in anything situation that might come up.

Appointment

The top 3 in the competition to decide a new Arames are then given a test of general skill and are sent to work with the new Arames for evaluation. A week after the Arames appointment, they make a decision on who they work best with and they are then appointed the Athis.

Duties

The Athis is in charge of dealing with small, internal disputes, handeling the public image and publicity, and, most importantly, aiding the Arames with whatever they may need.

Benefits

They gain almost the same benefits as the Arames, Money, publicity, a great house.
