Air Genasi
Air Genasi are travelers and highly in-tuned with the inner workings of magic. They aren't ones to settle down anywhere, preferring to keep moving, gleaning information and making connections before disappearing without a trace. It is not uncommon for them to own small novelty shops in large cities.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Air Genasi are rather short and usually light. Like other Genasi, they have two arms and two legs, a torso, no tail. Their bones are thin, made of an elastic, light sponge like material that is surprisingly durable and heals fast.
Genetics and Reproduction
Air Genasi reproduce in a very similar manner to humans, through sex between a male and females. Once a child is conceived, it takes about 3 months for the child to come to full development.
Growth Rate & Stages
They mature at the same rate as humans, coming to maturity at 20, finishing their developement then as well. at 70 they would be considered elderly and unfit to continue travel

Facial characteristics
They generally have softer facial features, round lips, wide eyes, and a flatter nose. Air Genasi also have facial markings that are curved and swirls around their forehead and eyes. In to not uncommon for these marks to be in the shape of a crown or resting directly under their eyes. These markings are a shade or two lighter than their natural skin tone and can be missed if under bright lighting.

Naming Traditions
They Are drawn to names greatly tied to nature, specifically wind and weather, like Storm, Draft, Breeze, Rain, Cloud and the like. Not all parents choose this, but in general it is a tradition passed down through the generations. Some Air Genasi look for a little variety and choose names from other languages with similar meanings.

They consider subtle displays of their travels very attractive. nothing monetarily valuable, but culturally valuable. ceremonial bead strings, silk wraps, wooden totems. That sort of thing. They wear these as jewelry or decoration on their person.

The best way to display a desire to get with an Air Genasi is to display interest in their knowledge and magic. though, Air genasi rarely spring for commitment. They stay for a while, have fun, then move on to the next thing.
Relationship Ideals
When they make friends, they don't expect to stay long. They learn names, interests, and desires but they don't stay long. They don't feel the need to develop deep relationships with people, except possibly family.

This desire to travel and learn comes from Aria, Their Elemental. Like her, they feel the wind at their backs and in their souls, pulling them from place to place.

Air Genasi are fluid, travelers as stated before. They value other cultures and a worldly attitude. they also appreciate the ability to fade into the background, being so good at adopting other mannerisms they disappear, like the wind.
Their buildings, much like clothing, are a reflection of everywhere they have been. They take aspects of cultures and countries they've visited and incorporated them into the very fame-work of their homes and stores.

They almost revere Aria, they sympathise with her plight, trapped on the top of the Golden Mountain.

With the legend of The Journal of Aria floating around, many Air Genasi have secretly desired to find the TiKommen on their travels and return it to her.

surprisingly for their weight, Air Genasi are rather well muscled which makes up a bulk of their weight, even if they don't weigh very much.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Their skin color naturally falls in the lighter, pale blues and occasionally the richer tones when "tanned". Their hair is generally white and curled in some way, sometimes even to the point people liken it to clouds. (which they find absolutely hilarious) Some Air Genasi are born with gray skin. This phenomenon is referred to as the storm coloring, since their marks stay a light blue, making the combination look like a lightening storm.
