The United Commonwealth Directorate of the Army
The United Commonwealth Directorate of the Army is one of the three military Directorates under the United Commonwealth Directorate-General of Defence, and is headed by the Director of Army Affairs.
The Directorate operates underneath the Directorate-General of Defence, alongside the Directorate of the Admiralty and the Directorate of the Air Force, and exercises day to day control of Army affairs, sets and carries out limited policy relating to the Army, and oversees administrative control of the United Commonwealth Army, in adherence with policies set by the Director-General of Defence, and subject to the Director-General's and the Chair of the Armed forces Council approval.
The Director is nominated by the Council of Nations, made up of the elected leaders of member states within the United Commonwealth, and the Armed Forces Council, made up of member states ministers of defence, and is subject to the approval of the U.C. Parliament. The Director can advise the members of the two councils on Army matters pertaining to administration, procurement, and spending, but their word carries less weight in matters with regards to military operations and strategy, and the deployment of troops.
Military aspects of the United Commonwealth Army fall under the control of the Chief of the General Staff, who is the professional head of the Army, the highest ranking officer within the Army, and is typically ranked as Field Marshal. The Chief of the General Staff is also a member of the United Commonwealth Chiefs of Staff committee, where they, alongside the Chief of the Admiralty Staff, ranking Admiral of the Fleet, and the Chief of the Air Staff, ranking Air Marshal, advise the Armed Forces Council and the Council of Nations on matters related to the military, ranging from procurement of weaponry to deployment of troops.

Very detailed, very organized. If I had any suggestion, it would be to perhaps add some personalities to the article, something that gives it some voice and character. Famous people, mascots, current leaders, so on :) Great work :D

Thanks for commenting! And thank you for the compliment. I've been developing this organisation in my head for quite some time, so it's good to get it out in writing. I also created another article related to the Army, if you don't mind checking it out too. Both of these articles could still use some work, but I think they're pretty alright.
