One Who Grasps
Because of the nature of the Insignia, a lot of the political and social power within Tholaren Dome is passed along seemingly at random, and it is difficult to gain power within those structures. Difficult, but not impossible. As Council Second to the Paladian Detectric, Orikoto has an unusual degree of influence over the policies of the Detectrics and how they're perceived in relation to the other departments. Since the palador in this case is more heavily concerned with the day to day work, it leaves Orikoto with a lot of leeway.Physical Description
General Physical Condition
A tall man with broad shoulders, he is physically striking. Just approaching middle age, he's at the height of his physical prowess and it shows visually. He's clearly someone who takes care of himself.

Personal history
His history is nothing special. He was never in consideration for any of the council decisions, but he was considered one of the more intelligent youths in his classes. Orikoto's family was stable growing up, and he remained protected from some of the issues that plague the less successful.
As an intelligent young man, he was mentored by several intellectuals and picked up a lot of their ideology. As a council second, he's the most prominent member of his family.
Employment
As a Council Second to the Paladian Detectric, Orikoto serves as foremost of those. Most people associated with this insignium are detectrics themselves, fulfilling the actions necessary to keep the Dome Tech functional. They do still need to work within the political structures of the Dome, however, and Orikoto fulfills this function, ensuring that this rather eccentric group of people works with the other departments.
He coordinates on behalf of Roald Malenfant, and as such has a great deal of power and access since Roald is fairly busy fulfilling his duties.
Wealth & Financial state
The dome doesn't really have money, strictly speaking, but rather an elaborate system of allotments and tokens meant to ensure access to needed resources. In general, most people are assigned homes based on where they work, and how large their family is, with larger spaces reserved for full families or those who house their aging parents. As such, it's unusual to see Orikoto in possession of one of these more spacious abodes despite the fact that he hasn't even married yet.
