Liyora Bracelet

This is the name for the bracelets made from Liyora Glass (which is made from Liyora Sand ). They come in as many colors as can be imagined.
Bracelets are some of the more common marks of personal expression in the Dome, since necklaces, pins, and rings are often used to indicate specific things about a person, like marital status or job title. Liyora Glass is a moderately popular material used in making bracelets, after metal, wooden, and ordinary glass beads.

Significance

If someone is wearing a Liyora bracelet that is only made of the plain faint green/blue/gray that matches the Dome layer, it carries a special meaning to the Orphan Scions . Wearing a plain bracelet like that means that the person wearing it used to be a scion. Beyond that, it shows that they remain connected to their origins and will support other scions, those still trapped in their status as outside citizenship. Scions themselves don't tend to wear the bracelets.

The beads that compose the bracelets are made from the scraps of the Liyora Glass that composes the Dome (which is made from Liyora Sand ). The glass is reheated, colored in a variety of ways, and then reshaped into beads. Some of these beads can get quite elaborate. For a time, a popular style was to mimic the Weinadi art style.
