The thirteenth Prime was essentially Cybertrons first ‘stillborn’ spark. The moment Primus created them, they immediately formed, and then returned to the well. There are a few very old tales of the thirteenth in this situation, and a few of those embellish it as a story of how Primus created bodies of liquid from their tears of grief, energon deposits from spilling their own energon because the death of their youngest was too much for them to bear (which is popular within darker circles), or how the very first death of Primus’s creations let Cybertronians feel emotion thanks to their creators intense grief. Going into the golden age, most of those stories were lost to time. Primus did grieve their youngest intensely, and so did the other creations, but they always knew that they would come back some day. They always considered thirteen to be amongst them, if not in body then in spirit. The thirteenth gained the reputation to mean Cybertronians as a species, probably due to the fact that the spark immediately went back into the well, and could have been seen as being a part of every living cybertronian. Also seen as Primus sending thirteen back into the well to create the people in the first place. Alpha Trion is the only Prime whose Pact has never been cycled to a new individual, due to the nature of his existence. Every time Trion returns to the well, he is recreated as a bot who eventually returns to being Alpha Trion. Previous iterations of Alpha Trion include bots named Titanium, Perplexor, various unnamed ‘disposables’, and several serial number names. Apart from the Thirteenth, Alpha Trion is the only Prime to be reincarnated. Every time, his appearance is similar, if not exactly the same. Somehow he’s managed to slip past the radar of every registry. He is technically worshipped as a member of the thirteen, but always under the radar. His visage differs just enough that no one really knows that he is Actually the prime himself. Merely a bot who took the Primes name.
