Adonism

Adonism is an ancient form of worship towards Adon Hy'lah practiced historically by the Bene L'weis tribe, and later by the Barsabban subjects of King Beryto, the founding king of the city of Berytus. Acacius claimed to be the final successor to the Adonist prophets, and this claim was largely accepted by Adonist Barsabbans. Despite this, some Amellions in Abrisom continue to practice the old rite. Adonism and the Acacian religions have a complex relationship, with both accepting all Adonist prophets and scriptures, but the Adonists rejecting the Emunites as heretics who invented new doctrine, and the Emunites rejecting the Adonists as heretics who reject the new revelation of Lord Abbas.
