C'Thar Durandil, The Journeyman

C'Thar was a renowned explorer on the continent of Balendyra from about 20 EC to 0 EC. His actions triggered the changing of the era.
For most of his career he spent his time mapping the great lands of Balendyra, and came to love it quite dearly. Much of the modern cartography is in some part based on his original findings.
His opinions shifted when he discovered, upon witnessing Kasmy about to be murdered by Bebedon, that the creator of the land was a cruel and unjust god. With his blade he pierced the body of Bebedon, freeing Kasmy from his torture.
In his remaining years after this event, he set to spreading a great amount of dissent toward Bebedon. Many attempted to silence him, and they eventually did. He met his end at the hands of Bebedon's clergy, who threw him from a cliff into the ocean.
The sword that pierced Bebedon is to this day known as The Journeyman's Blade, the most powerful blade on all of Tesia.
