Cosmic Confederacy
The Cosmic Confederacy is an evolution of the Moerhai Alliance. Founded two hundred years after the last Phentomite war, the Confederacy was set up to allow for new member states, chiefly the new Phentomite Republic, to be brought together in galactic peace.
The Confederation is run by the Cosmic Senate, made up of representatives from each world, The Stelar Court, made up of jurors from each member world, and the Allied fleet, run by the Fleet Admiralty.
The Cosmic Senate is a council made up of representatives from each world. ThemGoal of the senate is to manage trade between member states as well as foreign policy. The Senate has no authority over the laws of the member states, however it can vote to remove a state it feels does not hold Confederation Values.
The confederacy does an annual vote to determine its leader, who is given the title of Supreme President until they are voted out.
The Stelar Court is the highest court in the confederacy. The Stelar court oversees cases where states press charges against other states or the confederacy as a whole. This promotes non-violent confrontations.
The Jurors do an annual vote to determine their leader, the Stelar Judge.
The Allied Fleet, often shortened to the Alliance, is the military arm of the Confederacy. This defensive navy was made to protect member states and trade routs within confederacy space.
The Fleet Admiralty chooses its Grand Admiral every year with a vote.
