Terris

"Welcome to Terris. Population, 5.73 Billion. Home to you, and your adventures. It consists largely of water and rock, but does include a dusting of flora, fauna and, since the introduction of the Dwarves, the odd mechanical contraption too. It truly is a mixed bag.     One day perhaps you'll get to see it all through your own eyes, or the eyes of another. Maybe you'll make something of it, or yourself.     But be warned, if adventure and glory are what you seek, upon that path lies danger. It will take a hardy constitution to face its many challenges and survive, and a hardier stomach.     Perhaps instead you'll choose to toil all your days upon it, never gazing on its wonders, but waking each day to see the sun rise o'er its horizon. And who's to say that is any less of a life well lived?     Regardless of how it treats you, how you approach it or how much of it you get to see, it will try to change you. The wise among you will let it. For that may even be the meaning of life.     Welcome to Terris, spend your time here as you wish, cherish it, remember it, but most importantly, enjoy it.     'Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.
