Terreus

The world of Terrus is not unlike our own, save a few key differences: immense swaths of wilderness, steampunk technology, magic, megafauna, and the ability to tap into and harness the full potential of the Soul. Across the bordering countries of Arven, Siryk, Kaa and its Islands, cultures differ but one thing remains consistent; human beings, with enough training, are able to become arcane powerhouses. This strength, however, is about to become their downfall. Life as all have come to know it is completely upended with the resurrection of Fenris - an ancient necromancer capable of warping and dementing Soul itself. Flanked by his cult and set on subordinating the world itself, his influence spreads like a plague. Governments and townships fall. The only option left for the living is to forge a path through the growing army of undead and stop him.
