The Hym of Valari is a old folk song from western Renzinbar sung at funerals. It is unknown how this song originated, though it is speculated that it was originally created by a heartbroken widow who had lost her lover, most likely by a sea borne disease. Valari is a major god (some debate that she is more of a minor god) worshiped in most of Shiban and parts of Renzinbar. She is the cold goddess of death and sickness.
