Terranoth

Seven Nations led by seven gods, the manifested beings of ideals held true to humanity since the dawn of time, ideals such as justice, mercy, good, evil, life, death, all given shape by the gods that walk the world.   Until just a century ago, the gods had been an unchanging influence in every persons life in some form. But the faith of man is easily shaken, and after the world witnessed the death of its God of Knowledge, everything changed. Old wars reignite, new enemies appear from their hidden lairs, and the land runs white with the ash of burning cities.   Now, the oldest most powerful dragon in existence, Karbarak the Scarlet, demands the world bow to him as a self proclaimed god. Calling it "The Scarlet Crusade" Karbarak leads legions of fanatic followers, coupled with his ancient draconinc allies, attacking and conquering anything they can, asserting themselves as "The Dragon Lords." Only the dragon emperors oppose him, who are fiercly recruiting anyone they can, rallying behind the last golden dragon Borlon the Beaming. The gods of civilization lend what forces they can spare, but with all odds against them, the future is promising the extinction of all dragons.   But beyond the wars and the destruction, powerful forces are in play outside the limelight. Terranoth itself is an incubation chamber for powerful beings known as "Heroes." Unknown to all but the Old Gods, Terranoth was meant to create heroes and turn those heroes into gods in an attempt to create an army of pantheons to oppose Ashkdida, the All Mother, originator of the Irreals, and the other lifeless husk of Al-Marashan, The Voided One, whom split into three beings in order to begin humanity.   And yet, all of the mysteries of Terranoth have not been revealed, and many players behind the puppet strings have yet to show themselves, and all are subject to the greatest change Terranoth has had in a century, the legendary and seldom spoekn of "Apocrophan."
