Emperor's Aura
At a time when the Elysian Empire was still in its infancy and Magic was still shrouded in mystery with very few practitioners, the second Emperor Maximilian the Wise founded the Emperor's Aura. The Emperor's Aura functioned as a secretive council of Magic innate advisors that operated out of the Empire's capital city, New Rome.
Maximilian's goal was to prolong the life of the Empire by ensuring Magic was always available and ready to assist. Still, he also wanted to ensure his continued reign as Emperor which would heavily influence the goals of the new organization.

Structure
Over the years the organization grew and weaved itself into the fabric of everyday life in the Empire, causing two distinct groups to form.
The Inner Circle was very structured and formed entirely from magic innate Old Romans. Every member must prove a linage unspoiled by other Terramythos races as well as one that was traceable directly to one of the Founders who made The Crossing.
The Flock, as it was known to the Inner Circle, was made of everyday Elysian citizens whose talents or occupation were important to the order.
