The Power Stone is aqquired. The Sacked is stepping up their plan with this artifact of god. Sadly, it's not what they think. It isn't a usable weapon - it's a fancy rock. Despite that, Valus doesn't give up. He want to turn it into something useful nevertheless.

If only he have someone to deal with it while he's busy on organizing.

Structure

Exposition

Several weeks or months, the expedition team returned with an artifact known as 'The Power Stone'. One of the surviving member, Legna, gave Valus the stone in a enclosed box.

According to Luumism beliefs, this mythical stone could cast the powerful beam of god that wipe out anything the user desired. Valus believed that this could help his rebellion beat the Empire of Kritus. As he received it, his belief fell apart as it was just the ordinary stone. And it wasn't even a stone; It was a crystal.

This was until he demostrated the property of the stone, he came up with a brillliant idea...

Conflict

Valus met Parlov Indus, the scientist and his best friend. He convinced Parlov to make a weapon out of the crystal. At first Parlov didn't believed it until Valus showed what it could do, so he decided to take in. Parlov used one of the room that wasn't easy to enter, gathering many scientists including one of his best student.

Rising Action

Many experiment was done unsceduled in order to cover themselves from any suspecious officers. Many of them failed, but thet maanged to got the solution when an accident happened which you can find here.

The result was what would be called Catasoon, the cannon which able to shoot a ball in very long range. When he showed it to Valus,

however, he was satisfied but not that much; he required a protable one. After several attempted to downside this, Parlov came up with a handgun, later called Catasia.The experiment ended in success. He was about to send this to Valus to demostrate them. As they attempted to send it to Ferrum Faber, a Blacksmith guild, to manufacture them all.

Climax

When it was ready, one of the teammate revealed themselves to be the spy sent by the Kritus. They tired smashed all the crystal samples. Although Parlov eventually beat the spy, the crystal was smahsed, and the whole room exploded.

A very big blast was seen thoughtout the city. Many of the team, including Parlov, survived the impact but not his beloved student. The crystal was later called "Catastropium", the element of catastrophe.

Falling Action

The guards arrived to investigated for the situation. Nobody outside the room haven't learned about the project, or they're doomed. After several hours of investigations, the survivors were freed.

Resolution

The room was completely damaged, but it turned out that all the prototypes were hidden in time. A few days after the incident, Parlov delivered Valus a surviving Catasia and gave him a demostration. Once Parlov gave him the instruction, Valus shot at the armor which easily peicing through it like a butter. The best reaction he got was "This is it."

The prototype of gun and blueprints were then being sent to the Ferrum Faber, a blacksmith guild with mass-producing system, crafting parts of which would sent back to the institute to assemble these fate-changing weapons.

Parlov must find the way to turn the mythical stone into some sort of weapons for the rebellien while trying to protect themselves from the Krins.

Locations

The story took place in a secret room somewhere in the Institute of Knowledge. Almost all their experiments were done here.

Threats

The risky activities led to the Krin's suspection.

Past Events

The Empire of Kritus defeated the Kingdom of Valonia for a decade now. Most of their people were enslaved and humillated, angered the locals. There was an attempted to liberate themselves once a few years after the occupation,but it was ended in such massive scale, and the consequence of such action would be considered the tyranny. The later historian described them as The Sacked.

Protagonist

Parlov Indus

The scientist and the Superviser of Royal Research Academy, the main scientific institute of the Kingdom of Valonia. where many inventions used in the country were made or based on the efforts of the scholars here. He ascended the title from his father, which had been passed on for centuries without any interruption.

Allies

Amethus Mardius

Parlov's best student. Smart, quick-head, and full of curiosity. One of the crew Parlov brings in.

Valus Rarmon

Parlov's best friend, , was a leader of The Sacked, the rebellien who wanted to liberate the country. He was being known as the fallen heir, as he supposed to be the next king of Valonia before the invasion. Parlov sheltered him to hide during the peak of the city raid.

For such secret experiments, he also recruited many colleagues from the academy, including his students.

They are Krins from the capital which then working at Valone to keep the peace of the city.

Royal Enforcers

The police unit of Valone, They were not dissolve following the war for some reasons but under the reorganization.
