Every hundred years, a comet will approach in the closest to the earth, making it visible to the naked eye for about a week. No one know what's it made rather then rock, but the light it created is so bright it turn the night sky purple, as if it is the second moon.

Name

According to Valonian historian, they named it to celebrate the victory of Kingdom of Valonia over the Empire of Kritus in 0 BVE. At the time during the Siege of Knirk the army witness this once in a lifetime sky, it gave them the ultimate morale to defeat them before the comet went away.

Because of its color, they also argue about the origin of Catastropium that it might come from this astronomical object.

History

As it might appear once in a lifetime, every encouters mean the significant. And In the past, many significant events were related or mention to the comet sight:

  • It's mentioned and might be the core of thousand years myth: "The Strange Stone form the Sky"

  • During his immigration from the east, Val had found out about the place where he found Valone. Some eveidents prove that the comets sight was being seen during the early settlement in 400 BVE.

  • Ohuna-Krin War was occured in 200 BVE. The war ended with the seperation of Ohun, the mining kingdom. Kritus saw it as a bad omen that sinked empire down since then.

  • Recently, the comet sight appeared at the beginning of Valus Era. The obvious eveident is an object called the Eternal Star--the bright self-illuminate prism which was made to celebrete the triumph. Despite by its creation, it had been nicknamed "A Comet's Child"
