"WELCOME FRIENDS, TO THE TAVERN OF NEW BEGINNINGS...!" That is the first thing you hear when entering the The Tavern of New Beginnings. A landmark in the heart of the outer ring of Kaladesh, owned by the equally magnificent Stromboli.

Who is Stromboli?

Stromboli is a name that almost everyone knows. His jolly demeanor and positive attitude instantly draws you in. Because of this, it's allowed him to make a name for himself and his business. Acting as a friend, a mentor, a job giver, a father figure, a musician, an entertainer, and much more, it is evident to the people of Kaladesh that he has their best interest at heart.
Despite the numerous people that he has met and the deep connections he's made, no one actually knows where he came from. The elder folk of the community recount stories of Stromboli just appearing one day several years ago back when the city started going downhill. "He was a simple nobody who took the risk to open up a business" some would say. Others think that Stromboli was actually a foreginer who happened to migrate to the city of Kaladesh just as things started to turn bad. Still, with the large expanse of the city, there's really no telling where he came from.
Still that doesn't stop people from coming into his tavern because nobody really cares where he came from. Stromboli exhibits this aura of light and joy that everyone keeps coming back for.
