Trident-class Super Battleship

The queen of battleships

The mighty and feared Trident-class Super battleships was one of- if not the most powerful class of space vessels. Used by mankind first in the battle for Estraq, the ships proved extremly useful againts almost any of the enemies vessels. The ships was well loved by the crew and its captains due to almost being unstopable, it was also (and still is) used as propaganda to recruit people to the navy.
Their design was first proposed by ESMC in 26AE as a request from the navy's high command for a new battleship, the Trident-class sought to eliminate one problem the previous ships had which was firepower.
Production of the first 2 ships began in late 26AE on Mars space dockyard and was finished 28AE
Sadly due to the maintance and the cost of building one of these was too high, it was replaced by the Westri-class Battlecruiser in 49AE but 5 of them are still keept somewhat operational incase they are needed. The five ships names are: Spear, Naginata, Lance, Trident II and Javelin.

Power Generation

It was powered by 4 Small Particle accelarators but only one was recommended to run at a time.

Propulsion

The ship used 5 E-18 Engines and 15 E-10 engines

Weapons & Armament

The ships armament included: 20 TUL-1M small laser, 16 TUL-4 medium laser and 4 TUL-30 large beam. It could also easly be modified to allow 1 TUR-27 in the front of the ship.

Armor and defense

It had 100mm of armour all around and several shield generators on its sides to protect it.

Communication Tools & Systems

There where several radios on the ship in key areas such as the bridge and the medbay.

Sensors

A sonar was used to locate ships up to 70km away and a radar to detect ships from 200km away

Additional & auxiliary systems

A stealth mode had been added to the ship but it disabled communication for the entire ship.

Hangars & docked vessels

The ship could be modified with room for 10 troop transport ships
