Tern

A mystical and mysterious world left shattered after a great calamity. All that remains now is a circular shard. This realm lacks a moon, sun, or stars; only light and darkness exist here, the sky detailed by an aurora.   The northern part of the shard world is plagued by a race known as the Je'ron; an advanced warrior race as lethal as they are ruthless. As they are capable of integrating other races into their gene pool they have changed a lot through the years and today come in a wide variety, The majority are large, muscular creatures with a thick carapace. Some of the highest ranking of the race are known to have wings; this rare gene is seen as a mark of power.   Located at the center of the shard, located deep within the Balbrokian mountain's is the dwarven capital of Balbrok. A heavily fortified bastion holding some of the most advanced technology vital to keeping the Je'ron scourge at bay.   The gods of this world are numerous; some have existed beyond recorded time, while others ascended as new gods, earning their positions through great sacrifice, feats of prowess, and gaining great influence across Tern.
