Personal history
A young witch, freshly graduated from the Academy of Magic in the Capitol.
She was a good student, almost entirely dedicated to her work. She passed a degree in Runes and Sigils and another one in Archeology.
With her results, she could have applied almost anywhere and get the job. Instead, and to some of her teacher's horror, she decided to take the job no one wanted. The job even barely passing student didn't want, the job that was worst than unemployement at the Capitol : Town Witch in Torsgard.
The Baron of Torsgard had made an official offer for a wizard to come and live in Torsgard. The job comes with a house and a workshop, it promises a great environment in nature, among welcoming citizens. The Town Witch will have to "try their best to help the citizens at the workshop, propose solutions to usuals problems, and teach once a week to educate volunteers on the use of magic." Except for the last part, it's a classic Town Witch job, it doesn't require high degrees, and the conditions are exceptionnaly good for this kind of job. But it's in Torsgard. The Village of Faeries and Daemons. The place where fairytales comes true, the cradle of every monster of every legend. Nobody knows wether it's true, but even if it's false it's still the farthest place on the map, no one in its right mind would leave the Capitol, with its high concentration of magical energy, to get lost in a place like this, probably filled with Black Bloods. Or worse, Black Bones !
After two whole years, Lyra was the only one to volunteer to the job. She's been exchanging mail with the Baron for a few month now, every one in Torsgard is excited to meet her. The day after she got her diploma, she started her 2 month journey to Torsgard, and she's almost there !

Still a virgin. Though nearly no one know and even less care, and although she deliberately avoided relationships during all her studies and went as far as avoiding physical contact even with her few friends, she still count her virginity as failure.
Morality & Philosophy
Lyra believes that there is no Good and Evil, only personal motivations. She thinks that it's important to aknowledge the goal of others and to have one own goals. Though aknowledging isn't condoning, she will firmly oppose those whose goal will hurt and oppress others for no good reason. But she won't say she's doing "the Good thing", but rather that she sets her goal on protecting those who can't protect themselves.
To sum it up : Do no harm, but take no shit.

This is great! I especially like her moral ideas, the fact that she does not believe in Good and Evil but still makes it her goal to protect others, but then how would she react if confronted with moral dilemmas such as the trolley problem (basically, will she hesitate and look for other solutions or simply consider that five is greater than one and instanteniously decide to save the most people, even if another solution may have presented itself by taking a step back? Also, she is drastically changing her environment here, going from the largest city to the smallest, from the center of the world to its border, how does she feel about that? Excited, nervous, neutral? Is there anything or anyone she is taking with her or wishes she was and that she would miss? (I would also ask for her motivations to go there, but I guess this is spoilers, eh? :p) Lastly, is she naturally talented for static magic, and passed her Runes and Sigils course with ease, or was she extremely bad at the start and worked so hard she became that good, and what impact did it have on her archeology studies? Or did she take one after the other maybe? In any case, I guess I'm just wondering which domains she found the most easy and difficult when studying, and which ones she is currently struggling with. Can't wait to see more of your stuff :D

To ans wer quickly though, I have no idea how she would react to a trolley problem. She's not one to sacrifice anyone, unless they have proven to be hostile, toxic, and not willing to change. About her change of environment, I will say more about it but I can already tell you she's thrilled but nervous. She wants to live there and to advance her researches, but she fears an encounter with a black blood, and she's not sure how she could handle meeting a black bones. Lastly, she is in fact naturally gifted in static magic. You'll know why in the spoilers ;)
