Tepez Tales: Tal'Dorei

Exandria; A world where the gods must watch over their creations silently, as they are unable to intervene fearing the consequences. A world where the land has been thrice ravaged and scarred, the denizens hoping this peace lasts as they rebuild, unseen to them mysterious forces are at work. Exandria: Tal'Dorei is a D&D 5th edition setting originally created by Matthew Mercer for Critical Role. I am using this setting as a basis for my personal campaign that will be streamed live for all to enjoy.

Tal'Dorei having recently suffered the onslaught of five ancient chromatic dragons who allied themselves under the rule of Thordak the Cinder King, This alliance became known to the world as The Chroma Conclave, they tore into the realm of Tal'Dorei and divided it's domains amongst themselves for their own personal rule. As fate would have it a band of misfit adventurers rallied together their might, wit, allies, and divine luck to slay each dragon one by one and ending the dominion of the Conclave. This group of adventurers were known to many as Vox Machina.

A year has passed since the fall of Thordak and the Conclave, thus freeing Emon and the realm of their grasp, but his primordial energy still scars the land leaving molten slag and earth, bleeding fire and ooze chaotic magic—that ceases to heal, and his tyranny all but forgotten. The continent has done much to their efforts in rebuilding their cities and homes in Tal'Dorei. Major cities such as Westruun and Emon are especially fortunate, but all is not well as many things known and unknown still stir and linger.

The newly-formed council of Tal'Dorei is indebted to the mages who rebuilt their city. There are also voices that speak of the current council possibly not lasting. Thordak scarred the lands of Tal'Dorei with his primordial essence. Smaller cities beyond the reach of The Council have begun to Succumb to sinister influences. The Betrayer Gods sense the weaknesses arising within the world. Will the Divine Gate be enough to hold them?

Tal'Dorei is in need of heroes and Vox Machina alone will not be enough, as whispers of their disappearance begins to cascade across the realm, what can this entail the world wonders?
