Mental characteristics
Personal history
Their parents were both skilled hunters. They were raised in a clutch they were a little small for their species.. They were never really interested in the hunting side of things but had a great interest in tinkering and building things, they were even more more eager to learn than most of their species. Scax'uk had shown a great interest in these new spaceship things and often played hookey from classes to sneak aboard any ship that came to their planet. Most of the time without the permission of the owner.
On the night of their ritual they went out with their fellow clutch mates but, instead of spending the night on the ground, snuck off to look at the latest spaceship which had landed on their planet. They were impressed by the technology of this new ship and decided to stay on board, leaving behind their home planet for good.
The rest of their people believe them dead and they have never been back to dissuade of this idea. The ship they snuck aboard belonged to Booth Draven. Booth was on a time sensitive mission and had no time to go back to the planet to return the stowaway. The mission took several weeks and in that time, Booth's current engineer became impressed with Scax'uk's eagerness to learn and began training them.
Scax'uk proved usefull on that mission and Booth allowed them to stay. After a couple of years, the old engineer went into retirement and Scax'uk became the full time engineer.
