Sarinara of Valinyd

Eyes: brown   Skin: light olive skin   Hair: long and blonde   Given Name: Sarinara   Personal History: As her name suggested, Sarinara was born in the former kingdom of Valinyd into a family of farmers. She had three brothers and two sisters. During her early years, harvests were poor and famine devastated the region where they lived. To survive, he father sold her into slavery at the age of seven to a Valinyd slave trader. On the coast, a Venian purchased her and took her across the Insular Sea to Vosepi. The owner of the Golden Peach - a high-class brothel - then bought her and used her as a serving girl. When she turned twelve, her master ordered she be trained in the erotic arts. She served as a whore from fourteen until nineteen, when another man purchased and freed her. She had saved up coins to purchase her freedom, but her master had discovered and confiscated her stash. The man became her patron and protector, in exchange for her paying back her price with interest. She became a courtesan and set herself up in a nice apartment in the city. She honed several skills beyond sex to make herself more appealing to clients, such as singing and dancing. She even learned to read and write from her patron’s tutor, becoming literate in both Venian and Diakai.   Mental Trauma: Being sold as a slave by her father stunted her ability to form close relationships with other people. Abusive and disgusting clients also hardened her toward men in general. Even as a free woman, she avoided intimate relationships whenever possible.    Sexuality: She catered to both men and women who could afford her services.   Known Languages: Beside her native language, she spoke Venian, Diakai, and others. It was beneficial to be multilingual to make sexual experiences with her more pleasant with clients, so she sought to learn as many as possible.   Biological Sex: female
