This curse can be transmitted by extended contact with someone who has it.

Causes

The curse is caused by someone casting it on another.

Symptoms

Those afflicted will always feel cold. Not only will they be cold, but anyone they touch will have the very internal body heat of their body sucked from them. If it is completely drained, that person too will then carry the curse.
The curse makes a mark appear over the heart of the afflicted of a bright red sun.

Treatment

The curse is easily removed by any mage who can dispell curses.

Prognosis

The curse simply happens then moves on.

Prevention

Any protective spells will make this curse not work.

History

A common curse, so ancient that every culture has a variation of it. "May your heart never be filled, and may those you love spurn your touch" is a pretty common ill to wish upon osmeone, after all.

Cultural Reception

Those who are known to be afflicted with the curse and are known to be afflicted are often pitied, though often times it's understood that to receive the curse you probably did something horrible to someone.
