Luminescence
One of Luminescence is the title for the most highly regarded spellcasters, with the ability to grow trees hundreds of feet tall and heal those on the brink of death notoriously quickly through years of study and practice of the natural force of magic that is Lumin.
Qualifications
Growing a tree or mushroom of eight feet within a half minute, healing a broken bone (cracked horns and large gashes will also count) in a minuet, and successfully determining the Lumin concentration of an object inside a closed box from eighty feet away.
Appointment
A spellcaster will have to prove they are capable of the various requirements to either a government official, luminescence, village healers, or on rare occasion a deity. After the status of one’s luminescence the creature in question will grow a tree of their choosing at the location of their birth (or as close as can be approximated) and paint their name along with varied three moon and sun signs with their blood on the tree. Some will chose to make a pilgrimage to the dragons tree and let blood there on a triple moon syzygy instead, usually when they have been appointed by a deity as a further show of respect, though it is not necessary.
Duties
When one is of Luminescence they will be assumed to give aid to those they may encounter through healing and sustenance, though they may refuse to give help if the Luminescence in question does not want to.
Benefits
Often one of Luminescence will be highly regarded wherever they may visit as they posses skills highly sought after for combat, medical purposes, and crop cultivation.
Accoutrements & Equipment
While no uniform or equipment is necessary for the title of Luminescence most will carry large pouches or bags of seeds and many charged items on them (grown plants of cultural significance, rain or river water, stones and gems, etc.) as focuses for Lumin further than themselves.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
There is no way to remove the title of luminescence once it has been given.
