Telmun Sector

The Telmun Sector rubs the borders of pre-scream explored space. This is the perfect circumstance to have a multi-species sector. Even though in reality it's quite limited, many more species are expected to pop up in and around Telmun.   Metadimensional space around Telmun is average at best. There is an increasing sentient robot population and some scattered remains of mech presence, but the people can only dream about transhumanism or unshackled AIs.   Being so distant from the founding stars, it was to be expected that any sense of societal order was nonexistant. Many have tried to unite the sector before the scream, many are still trying to this day.   The current superpower calls itself "The Federation" and they are slowly but surely expanding their borders around the surrounding stars. Some would say this is against the will of the people. This group doesn't go by any name but they are considered rebels. Quite spread out and fractured in some places they range from harmless diplomats to outright radical terrorists.   Sighted races are humans, Keltek, sole units of Peglaci and in some corners of the systems there is word of an as yet unknown species of shapeshifters.
