Caecus Brachium
The Aenigman footman of the Caecus Brachium - or the 'Blind Arm' of the Aenigman infantry. This martial power was utilized as the first response to any and all threats warranting major military response, they were in active service during the Clausa Manus - deployed to ensure the survival of civilians across the western coast. Survivors of the Caecus Brachium can still be found in groups, fending off the hell that the cataclysm had brought to their home.
Composition
Manpower
Typically one hundred thousand men form the Caecus Brachium, it being one of the primary branches of the Aenigman military that is further divvied up and sent wherever they are needed. They served on the front lines of any conflict that would arise.
Equipment
The Caecus Brachium kept a healthy engineer and sapper division consisting of roughly two thousand men. These small groups of engineers would be responsible for directing the construction of fortifications such as trenches, camps, siege equipment, etc.
Weaponry
The Caecus Brachium equipped it's soldiers with a multitude of weapons, though broke into several small units for an increased variety of specialty. Mainly they were armed with the usual spears, short swords, shields, long bows.
Vehicles
The standard siege towers and catapults are utilized by the Caecus Brachium, though more often than not they are accompanied by cannons - to shred enemy defenses and break down walls.
Structure
The Command structure for the Caecus Brachium is fairly simple; starting with the highest in command would be the regular general, or the Dux. The Dux would come with a staff of four advisers, this command staff is the Corps Commands, below this are the regiments of 25,000 commanded by the Secundo Dux, then the regiments break into legions of 12,500 commanded by the Legatus, these broke into ten cohorts of 1,250; each lead by a Goleir who dictates the groups smaller than the cohort.
