Cephalid

The cephalids are a race of sapient cephalopods who live mostly in the deeper regions of Telim's oceans. They are reclusive, though not hostile to outsiders, and prefer to spend their time turning their considerable intellects towards developing their science, magic, and art. Their cities are enormous coral reefs, the microscopic lifeforms molded and shaped to build impossible structures of incredible strength and beauty.
