The Bag of Facilitation

A semi-intelligent rucksack which, in addition to holding whatever items are placed inside it, can generate new items - along with accompanying 'instructions' - when they are most needed. The items and information given are always an incredibly indirect and non-obvious solution to the problem at hand. Created by the demon god Rhi'shavi'un as a means of aiding people, so long as they are smart, quick, or lucky enough to use whatever they are given.

The bag is quite a bit larger than the average backpack of its style, with a hefty main compartment, multiple inner pockets, and five external storage pouches. The whole things is made from black leather of unknown origins, although it has a bit of a scaled texture to it that suggests it might be reptilian skin. Each individual panel of the main compartment is covered in deep, runic carvings of no known language that glow with an internal white glow, though this glow's color changes when items are dispensed. The logic behind the color change is generally difficult to discern for someone who hasn't gotten used to the bag's 'personality'.

The Bag of Facilitation seems to have developed something of a soul over time, giving it a mischievous edge to the items it dispenses. It seems to have a great fondness of giving items that appear as utterly worthless as possible. These items always have some function that can be used to resolve the current situation, but it's up to the wielder to figure out what that might be.
