Bathune
The winds were whistling that day, moving through the stone tomb stones and the breaks in the crosses. It was biting cold but the stone seemed warm and comforting, though it caused the sound it broke the wind and made its bite less sharp. In the center of the yard there stands a thick statue of dark granite, but so life like that out of the corner of your eyes it looks as if the robes covering it were moving in the wind.
And there the he watches over the dead, the stone eyes hidden beneath a stone hood, watching you as well; waiting to usher your soul to join those that had fallen before.

Holy Books & Codes
Bathune shares the Eight Scriptures of the All-Father along with the other Four Hammers.
Beyond there is the holy book known in the dwarven tongue as Bragstal , the black book in common. It holds the rites required to properly return a fallen dwarf to the stone that birthed them; as well as the recipe to make the 'holy water' of the dwarfs which is a powerful alcoholic spirit known as Soul Wine. If imbibed by none dwarves it is known to cause hallucinations and can be deadly if prepared incorrectly.
Beyond this, most graveyards, cemeteries or larger dwarven clans have at least one dedicate Black Robe who carries a special tome known as a Dead Book that they use to chronicle the dead that they cared for during their charge, and when they die they are buried with the book to call the spirits they had helped in life to guide them on the proper path.

Tenets of Faith
Bathune's creed is the particular tenet that dictates that dwarves should not kill dwarves for it makes the stone cry. His is the quiet, often feared presence among dwarven house holds who do not understand his influence.
Holidays
The Summit- During the first weekend of Beloose the Black Robes hold ceremonies in the graveyards and cemeteries of their particular hold. There they have those in attendance assist in cleaning the graves and tending to the rock of the stone. Each member who assists is given a bottle of Soul Wine to share with the dead whose stone they are cleaning. It is considered bad form to drink more than half of the wine yourself as most of it should be poured onto the grave. At which point, when the graves are tended and their thirst sated the Black Robes welcome those in attendance into their shrines or temples for a hearty feast. This is normally done over two days, each day covering half the graves.
Dwarves of the hold that create poetry or song, dance or art are asked if they would like to share, display, or perform during this meal while the attendance is 'buzzed' on the wine such things are said to be consumed more purely as their souls are open to the god's influence.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
To welcome the children of the stone to their mountain in the afterlife. He is the one responsible for bartering for the souls with Mannimarco the King of the Veil. The dwarf god wishes to one day find a way to break the veil and destroy the worm king's influence over souls.
