Gardens of Rejuvenation

A God and Goddess stood side-by-side on the terrace of the Palace of Chaos. The God, a rather gaunt and irritable looking man with stark white hair was standing with his hands folded neatly behind his back. Or, he was for a moment. He couldn't seem to stand still as the Goddess looked around.   The Goddess was gorgeous, her hair seeming to sparkle in the light. Her pastel clothing was a rare pop of color in the rather drab looking Realms of Chaos.   "I know it isn't... like Her lands. Or like your fathers." The God admitted with a grimace, absently fiddling with his hair. "I haven't had much strength to devote to... realm upkeep since Sunshine decided I was unfit to have worshipers."   The Goddess granted him a weak smile. "It's alright, grandfather." She murmured, leaning against the small fence at the edge of the terrace. "It just needs some... Rebirth."   The God groaned. "Shiva, that was awful."   Shiva, the Goddess of Rebirth, grinned at her host. "Mortals think its funny."
The Gardens of Rejuvenation sit high above the mortal realms of Tarin, located in the Chaos Realms that float above the nation of Nissayria. This location is known to be the second stop on a souls cycle of reincarnation after their rest in the Plains of Oblivion that the God of Death calls home. The rest of the Chaos Realms are craggy, hot, and generally filled only with thorny, irritating species of plants and animals. The realms reflect the state of the God, and the God of Chaos has been anything but pleased since his exile.   The Gardens, on the other hand, are lush, green and beautiful. The Goddess of Rebirth has grown a small grove of trees, surrounded by undergrowth of exotic plants that no mortal has seen or named. The Garden is always filled with Shoni Sprites, as well as small globes of light in many colors. These globes are the souls of the deceased, come to be rejuvenated prior to being sent to the Goddess of Life to be born anew.
