Whitestone

The long standing capital of the Mountain Dwarf Empire. Original home of the Onyxcrowns, they were defeated in a daring commando raid by the Terran Empire, causing massive amounts of unrest. Since then the city has been in a state of unease, as warring clans vie for the right to rule the empire. Despite these tensions and the long rivalry with the Terran Empire, the city has never been conquered by an army.
Whitestone gets its name from the limestone and marble that makes up the city. Less than a quarter of the city is above ground, built into the sides of a mountain range. The majority of the city is underground, build from large caverns of excavated stone, gems, and ore.
