Syhism

Syhism is a religion that is practiced in the Ontarius Union but can be seen throughout Taora. It originated from Colaysia and dates back as early as the Naissaia. Syhists considered it more of a way of life but for others, it is only celebrated on special occasions. The religion is split into traditional and modern but some may practice both. It comprises many different traditions, views, ethnicities, and rituals. There are many annual festivals celebrated, and some pilgrimages.

Mythology & Lore

The Three Sisters

Mother Nature had/has many followers but her most dedicated apostles were Sol the eldest, Luna the middle, and Stella the youngest. The three sisters are witches which are very powerful, beautiful, and uncommon. The sister are major figures in Taora and are deities too many. They say that the sun is Sol watching over the world during the day and that Luna is the moon which is watching over the world during the nights along with her younger sister Stella who guides lost souls through the darkness.

The Witch's Grove

The witch's grove is the dawn of beings as it was the first place that Gaia placed a beings dawn of beings as Gaia placed them in Taora. It is holy grounds now where many people go to perform rituals.

Divine Origins

Witches are strongly believed to be descendants of Gaia in a personified form or distant relatives as they are wise and have lived for many years. In fact, they are the most ancient beings of Taora. They were able to pass down their knowledge of the universe through writings and word of mouth which were discovered in many different parts of Taora.

There once was a time with no existence and both Gaia the creator who later would be known as mother nature and Perderaes the destroyer could see a future full of life. Slowly they created matter within multiple possible universes and over time some of this matter condensed due to gravity which would eventually become something beyond even themselves. All of a sudden Gaia had a realization where she visioned all of the possible outcomes. As this happened the Big Bang occurred in a few of the trillions of universes created.
When Mother Nature otherwise known as Gaia formed Earth she split the universe into three dimensions one of which we are familiar with (Earth-The First Dimension), the other is Taora (The Second Dimension) a mythical world full of magic and the kind of creatures we dream about, and the other is Mother Nature's ideal world (The Third Dimension) which is both inaccessible and uninhabitable to/by humans and other lifeforms similar to humans (at least to our knowledge).

Syhism is an old religion that has grown over the years. Some people are more traditional with their practices and rituals but in places like Colaysia, it is more modernized.
