Purpose
After learning that a negative report from the team psychiatrist has erased Nash's chance for a future in the Cluster Cities, Royce composed an official letter of commendation and recommendation to be included with the Armatus Project materials. Due to a filing error, copies were not received by Military Command or KMR&D until after the Symposium had concluded.

Publication Status
This document was available to all corporate attendees of the 2606 Science Symposium in Thallen Cluster, and belatedly to Korlune Military Command and KMR&D.
Legal status
The Armatus Project was a joint venture between Korlune Military Command and KMR&D, Colonel Royce Malvyne used sections and articles from both to validate the inclusion of his letter with the Armatus Project Files. This was the first and only time that he used his military rank in an official capacity.

The Silver Crescents of Valor medal was awarded to Nash six months after he joined Harlo-Fyre's R&D team. The ceremony was held at Ethos Station, but he didn't attend. Royce served as his proxy at the function and delivered it in person the following week.
Historical Details
To fully understand the history Nash has with KMR&D, the military, and what's behind his desire to work in the Cluster Cities, I recommend you read The Korpes File.
Legacy
Harlo-Fyre was (and still is) the largest corporate sponsor of the military and when the CEO, William Harlo, requested Nash be transferred to Thallen Cluster, KMR&D had no recourse but to acquiesce. Harlo-Fyre, acquired both Nash and Master-Mech Davis Trent along with the Armatus Project patents directly after the Symposium.
KMR&D's Special Projects Division is still interested in Nash, and are waiting for their opportunity to reclaim him.
