The calendar of Atriand is based on the lunar cycles of the year that it was standardized. It has 13 months: 12 of either 29 or 30 days, and a month at the end of the year which is 11 days long (12 during leap years). This month, Dragonsmoon, is a time of festivals and celebration in Atriand, beginning with the Winter Solstice generally falling on the first or second day.
