Talingarde

Nestled in a warm corner of the tropics, far from the crumbling remnants of ageing empires and bloody revolutions on the Continent, is the archipelago Talingarde. A home to the good and the virtuous, the largest land mass which gives the island chain its name is home to wide deserts and snow capped mountains, bustling cities and primordial jungles. It is home to a faithful and hard-working populace, a royal family blessed by the gods and ruled by an immortal empress born of the divine itself. Yet amongst the soaring spires of cathedrals and the warm breeze caressed shores stirs something dark, cold and predatory; something that wishes to see all of Talingarde razed to the ground and from the ruins emerge a new society commanded by a new faith and a new cabal of rulers.
