Géographie

Welcome to the captivating continent of Atreon, a land of diverse landscapes and cultures. Spanning from west to east, Atreon is divided by a towering mountain range that separates its regions and shapes its unique geography. In the western part of Atreon lies Etheona, the birthplace of the Hullman, and further south is Falilia, the home of the Urulpushes. In between, Svadreda is a small piece of land conquered by the Izholvan. The landscape in the west is dominated by the majestic Stone Vertebra, a mountain range that stretches across the region and is known for its assembly line-like peaks. The climate in this area is generally warm, with Falilia experiencing even higher temperatures.   Moving towards the center of Atreon, you'll find Erostein, the native land of the Kulvar people. Here, the landscape is divided by the mountain range, and further north lies the land of the Ives in Ardron. The climate in this region tends to be rainier, with occasional bursts of sunshine between showers.   To the east of the mountain range, you'll come across the regions of Fadron, Avazar, and Inancha. Fadron is characterized by plains and forests, crisscrossed by long rivers, and is often considered the twin of Ardron in terms of its climate and seasons. Avazar is a land separated by the Everol Channel, and its climate is closer to Eyeron than the other regions. The moor in Avazar is intersected by a long river that runs from north to south.   In the far east of Atreon lies Inancha, also known as the "Sea of the Plain." This region is characterized by vast grasslands and hills, with few forests, and the wind blows fiercely across the landscape. The climate here is mixed, with slightly more humidity in the air compared to the west.   What unites all these regions is the presence of a river that runs through them, its veins growing and shrinking as it journeys towards the sea. Over the course of history, Atreon has undergone many geographical changes, and who knows what new undiscovered places await exploration in this enigmatic continent.   As we delve deeper into the mysteries of Atreon, we are reminded of the rich diversity of landscapes and cultures that make up this continent. From the towering mountains and lush forests of the west to the plains and rivers of the central regions, and the vast grasslands of the east, Atreon offers a wealth of geographic wonders to explore. Its history, shaped by geography and climate, has left its mark on the cultures and civilizations that have thrived on its lands. As we continue to unravel the secrets of Atreon, we are reminded of the ever-changing nature of our world, and the endless possibilities that await those who seek to uncover its hidden treasures.

Ecosystem

The continent is large enough to have two types of climate, for the west side the weather is temperate while the land inhabited by hundreds of species that live through the seasons. In the western circle the climate is warmer and wetter, allowing the vegetation and wildlife to develop a uniqueness that attracts travellers from all over.

Faune et Flore

The western region of Other has seen a delicate balance established in its fauna over the centuries. Like any ecosystem, it requires a well-functioning cycle to thrive. Carnivores prey on herbivores, but with abundant greenery, the herbivore population never faces danger of extinction. Interestingly, the ultra-fauna species are rare in numbers but occasionally feed in large numbers, preventing overpopulation from occurring. Despite their limited numbers, these ultra-fauna species possess great strength and act solely on instinct.   This circle of life and death allows for the proliferation of plants in Other. From mystical plants grown for alchemy to sentient fungi, the natural machinery of the ecosystem runs like a well-oiled machine. However, the development in the East is unique in its own way. It has been discovered that the reason behind the fast growth and abundance of plants in the East is due to a layer of magical stones that influence the soil and crops in a mysterious manner.

Ressources Naturelles

The lands of Atreon are abundant with valuable resources that play a crucial role in the continent's economy. Among these prized resources are mana ore, which is extracted from the stone column, and refined steel, which can be found in Herostein. These resources, often referred to as the "mother resources" of Atreon, are highly sought after and form the foundation of many industries and trade in the region. In addition to mana ore and refined steel, another rare and coveted resource in Atreon is metal cut from magic. This unique and scarce commodity holds significant value in the intercontinental market, as it is known for its exceptional properties and uses in various applications, including the creation of enchanted items and tools.   Furthermore, Atreon is renowned for its rich and diverse flora, which includes plants that are essential for alchemical practices. The stems of the Falolian red flowers, known for their potent properties, and the rare fish obtained from the petals of eastern flowers are highly prized in alchemical circles. The difficulty of cultivating these plants in other soils makes them valuable and expensive, driving their demand in Atreon and beyond.   In recent times, the production of meat from cattle and the processing of skins and leather have become significant economic activities in Atreon. While meat remains a rare and exclusive ingredient reserved for upscale meals, the production of skins and leather has become a thriving industry, with skilled hunters and craftsmen contributing to the economy. Notably, there is a specialized economy centered around hunting ultra-beasts to obtain prestigious materials and trophies, adding to the economic dynamics of Atreon.   Overall, the rich and diverse array of resources in Atreon, ranging from mana ore and refined steel to unique plants for alchemy and prized materials from animals, play a vital role in shaping the continent's economy and trade, and are highly valued both within and beyond its borders.
