Tales of the Fire Queen

Created by

In the mythical land of Khorvaire, a child named Dawn Ar'kan is born and orphaned in Black Keep, a tyrannical city in an enslaved country by the name of Thrane, ruled by the mighty Lich Vox'Lax the Plague.   The young woman grows up in poverty and cruelty within the walls of Black Keep, while always taking an interest in the arcane arts, whenever she found a way to study them. Dawn became a fine Wizard, taking a special affinity to Fire-based magic, which seemed to be effortlessly shaped and cast out of her hands.   On an unknown date by the year of 2385, Dawn and her childhood friend Liliana Trew somehow managed to escape the city and country into the neighboring land of Aundair. There, they lived, experienced, and met a lot of other interesting people, including Gorr and Cérhis Moonsong, who proved to be valuable allies. Together, the group went through several quests of epic reputation and faced evil and peril of every kind.   After 4 years of adventuring. Dawn, Liliana, Gorr, and Cérhis ventured back to Thrane and Black Keep, facing the abominable Vox'lax. With the help of the Lich's right hand, Melor Dawnstone, the group came out victorious, freeing the girls' homeland and the rest of the country from the grasp of the old Lich.   Soon after that, Dawn became the benevolent regent of Thrane, the woman nowadays known as "The Fire Queen".   Almost 10 years passed, and the city was renamed to Flamekeep (In honor of the Fire Queen, marking a new beginning for its people), 4 guilds were created in order to help administer the city and scout it for all types of talent. The Bonecrushers guild, which looked for members who showed potential in their physical prowess, was managed by Gorr. The Firebenders guild, searched for magic apprentices and sorcerers, working to develop their magic and the knowledge of magical artifacts, Liliana became their headmistress. The Guild of Shadows and Art, sought those with uncanny reflexes and those with the talent for crafts, having the fabulous Cérhis as their leader. And last but not least, the Hall of the Wise, chased those with a religious inclination and those fascinated by knowledge, sitting as the local Guildmaster, is Melor.   The city is about to uphold its annual Guild tournament, looking to recruit new members into its ranks. Our heroes just arrived, I wonder what this year's trials will be like?
