The first appearance of the Shadow, one of the earliest known metahumans.While en-route back to the United States, Lamont encounters agents of Rasputin, named Rasputniks. They believe the girasol ring that was a gift to Lamont from the Russian Czarina should have been given to Rasputin instead. Lamont creates the identity of the Shadow, vows to fight to eliminate evil and crime. Begins to gather Shadow Agents around the globe.
Tales of Justice is a work of pure, unabashed fiction. In fact, it considers itself rather heroic and quite proud of itself. Names of characters, places, events, organizations, and locations are creations of the author's imagination for this fictitious setting. Some have been inspired by other sources, which will be credited at the top right of the article.
