Polorian - Krianic Dialect

The Krianic dialect of Poloria is the now-extinct language of those from the decimated city of Poloria which was on the southern tip of Kalandar before 456 AoE.   Polorian was only spoken by the everliving of the southern continent and the specific dialect, Krianic, only in Poloria itself and so was literally culled from the world when the city was engulfed in flames and darkness before folding in the sea. Little is known of the spoken language but scholars of the Horath Assembly have some grasp of the phonic tones associated with it because of it sharing similar grammatical idiosyncrasies with common elven.   Some decryption of written texts retrieved in recent times have lead to some amazing discoveries about the Polorian as a people. A large collection of presently unreadable scrolls and texts is now stored in Hegelind within the confines of the Library of Gamrii. These documents are sealed within the confines of the Libraries locked and guarded Interna Sactus Vaultum, this being the most secure facility in the known world and guarded by the elite Brotherhood of Silk.   The origins of Polorian, and by extension Krianic do not fit within the natural order of oral and written languages of Everia. Some scholars have put forth that another continent at some point must have existed that developed independently of the combined landmass of Everia. There is evidence that the current dialect of the elves of Tangkalbumi have some tiny resemblance to a minuscule amount of Krianic leading to people wanting access to this region of the north to further the thesis that Tangkalbumi Elves came from across the sea as their unbelieved legends tell.
