Europa Cluster
The Europa Cluster is a meta-cosmic structure consisting of 1728 paracosms with a high degree of connectivity, making inter-cosmic travel comparatively easy. Because of this, the Cluster has become the center of a vast multiversal civilization spanning dozens of species and tens of thousands of years.
Most paracosms within the Cluster are self-governing; however, there are two major superpowers: the Alexandrian Federation, and the Alfheim Empire, each of which controls hundreds of worlds. The Alexandrian Federation is a revival of the ancient Macedonian Empire, which, under the leadership of Alexander the Great, had expanded across almost the entire cluster. The Alfheim Empire is the oldest nation still in existence, predating even the Macedonians, and having clashed with them on several occasions.
Beyond the Cluster is an infinite expanse of worlds known as the Frontier. Traversing the Frontier is far more difficult than the cluster, and for this reason, the region remains largely unexplored and uninhabited. Some have speculated that there may be other clusters like Europa far out into the Frontier, possibly with their own multiversal civilizations. However, at the moment, this theory remains impossible to verify.
