Takenea

The island-continent of Takenea is rich with culture and history. It’s borders are controlled with ever changing politics and new rising nations. The only thing in common with these countries is the fact that they all are human. The age of contest with other races had ended long ago, and now it’s time for the humans to see what they can accomplish on their own.   Technology is developed with Runes as its wires and Magic as its power. The people of the land are so used to magic like it’s the electricity of our world. Countless inventions are made with the works of runes. But it is not the only form of magic.   A select few called “Magicians” are just as human as anyone else, but are born in far more complicated ways. Not only that, but they are blessed with a special type of magic that no normal human can even comprehend. These Magicians are not mortal because of their blessings. Living for incredibly long amounts of time. Only dying when someone takes their life. The difference in magic drives a deep rooted conflict with those who are called Magicians and those who are not.
