My friends... the day we've been waiting for all these years is finally here. A new place, a new community, a new chance to show Ghal Pelorians why they need us. Over a thousand brave souls are setting out on a journey the likes of which hasn't been undertaken since the old days before the Queen's War! And they're doing it without an army, with barely enough supplies to make it and fueled only by the hope of a future better than the one tomorrow is offering. We can't let them go it alone! We can't let them succeed only to find themselves enslaved by the bankers of Melanthris, the taskmasters of Ghal Ankhar or the politicians of Ghal Pelor! We need to be there! We need to make sure there is a fair place in the future of New Sanctuary for the very hands that build it! Now is the time to carry the ideas we hold so dear to new lands! Enreika is a true Ghal Pelorians. It's been her home since the day she was born 276 years ago. She's seen the world change before her eyes several times over. The end of the Queen's War, the coming of the Tengu , the Spawn of the Scorned One invading Ghal Pelor's harbor and the recent ghoul incursion from the east that claimed Beldon. Each of these events further reinforced within her the idea that the disasters are coming to be more and more frequent and the divisions between the classes are widening. The recent vote on the Tariffs against foreign goods that passed within Ghal Pelor goes to further that notion. All of this has made Enreika a very guarded person who is used to the short-sightedness of those in power and their willingness to trample on the common man to attain their goals.

Today, Enreika has used what she's learned to rise high into the ranks of the Labor Union. She is now one of its most famous leaders alongside Councilor Garad Tengrid and other like-minded individuals and constantly tests the boundaries of fairness and justice to make life more comfortable for those people that usually live under the boot Tairos' tyrants.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Union riots at Ghal Pelor Harbor - These riots were planned by her and managed to spread such unrest through the city that the vote on tariffs was delayed for weeks while order was restored. She was able to demonstrate the power and passion of the Labor Unions and that fills her with pride

Failures & Embarrassments

Passing of the tariffs - Enreika views the outcome of the Tariffs coming to pass as a great failure on the part of councilors to truly represent the good of the people. While her ally, Garid Tengrid, was able to get some concessions in the final version she views it as capitulation. It has led to a divide between them and reinforced her idea that dramatic action is what changes the course of history and debate only serves to muddle the waters of right vs wrong.

Mental Trauma

The Silence of the Gods - Before The Queen's Rebuke Enreika and her family were devout worships of the Tairosian pantheon as a whole. Enreika loved the gods and prayed to them all equally and when their miracles were suddenly silenced and their presence in Tairos ended. This has had a deeply traumatic impact on her and further reinforced that there is no force left to watch out for the common people

Enreika has no special hygiene regiment. She often works alongside members of the Labor Union in both demonstrations/strikes and doing the same jobs the common folk are tasked with. She rarely has a chance to bath between leadership meetings so will often be rather dirty depending on what was going on that day.

Contacts & Relations

Union Labor Teams - About a third of the laborers in the caravan are members of the Labor Union. They are, generally speaking, more skilled and adept in their craft than others. They typically will possess better tools and have more experience with both mundane and high-level projects. Approximately 200 people in the caravan are tied to the Labor Union or are direct members

Thoman Glasser - Glasser acts as Enreika's advisor and is a well-known alchemist. However, Glasser is more famous or infamous (depending on who you ask) for the Kager Mill Incident. Glasser, like Enreika, is a devout member of the Union and a vocal opponent of Ghal Pelor's government. He led a strike at the Kager Mill, a woodworkers' factory whose owner recently supported the tariff on foreign goods. Authorities were never able to work exactly what happened but the entire factory burned down and several were killed. Evidence points to the factory using cheap and volatile oil to illuminate their factory at night and push workers into working later and later hours. Many opponents of the Labor Union know Glasser's expertise with alchemy and believe he tampered with the oil. They also know he is somewhat unhinged as well.

Sarabeth Daubrey Sarabeth is somewhat famous in Ghal Pelor. She's a Stormlander refugee who fled nefarious Stormlands when along with a boat full of refugees in a similar situation. Their houses had fallen to rival raiders and they sought safety wherever they could find it. Sarabeth joined the Labor Union because to her, the very idea of an organization that watches out for individual rights was so alien and intoxicating to her. She worked her way up through the ranks and now is one of Enreika's most trusted officers in the Union. She is also a skilled ship builder and sailor. And, like all Stormlanders, she knows her way around a pike and crossbow.

Religious Views

The pantheon of Tairos was deeply important to her and even though the voice of the gods is silents he believes they're still out there and one day will return. She still worships them, speaks to them and asks for their blessing.

Wealth & Financial state

Enreika is a Ghal Pelorian of modest means. While wealthier than the common man (due to her dwarven longevity and her family's roots in the community) she is by no means a wealthy person.
