Taeno

Taeno is an archipelago, one archipelago in a never ending sea of them. In a world where these island clusters shift and move frequently. The world itself is a lighthearted, Porco Rosso, Age of Discovery-esqe world where islands move thanks to a freak thunderstorm that happens whenever the gods will it. These storms and the creatures that lurk beneath the waves eliminated naval travel in a world where trade and travel are vital as not every island is self sustaining. This led to the rise of flight, as a faster way to travel, well before anything else. First through birds large enough to carry people and cargo, then to giant flying boats fueled by diesel. Taeno itself is a country emerging from an isolationist era, an entire generation of people leaving the island for the first time in their history. Whether it's as merchants, fighter pilots, bounty hunters, bandits or simply explorers, a new world awaits them.
