Ignosh Fargaze

Ignosh Fargaze was the most influential philosopher of Tacillia. There were other philosophers before her, but she made this occupation vital for the Dominion and, in large, for Gibora.

Nobody knows where Fargaze was born. When asked about it, she always said her first family threw her out like a piece of trash, and bigots murdered her second family. All there is to know is that she was a cursed. Based on her stature and her name, she was of kobold origin, but the curse can do anything with a body, and you can change your name if you want. When she died, a small, hand-painted picture was found on her body depicting her and three other Cursed. Probably her second family.

Fargaze instead talked about her travels over Gibora, including visits to the Southern-Marshes, and to the Cutter. She claimed that learning about the different species, their lifestyles, and beliefs, along with spending a lot of time in nature were the foundations of her theories.

These theories came to the forefront at the end of the Separation War. When the various factions of the war sat down to try to avoid the final battle, which would have devastated everybody, a small, diminutive figure entered the tents where the kings and generals somehow tried to make peace with each other. That diminutive figure was Ignosh Fargaze. Even today, nobody knows how she could pass all the guards around the tents. The leading theory is that being a Cursed, she had telepathic powers to avoid detection until she reached her goal. It became a state secret in every kingdom what was said during the peace talks. But in the morning, the war was over. The Dominion of the Hobgoblin became a federation, while the separationists became member states of that federation.

Her other colossal achievement was to convince the various leaders to establish a neutral place where thinkers like herself could come up with ideas on how to steer the world towards a better future. This neutral place later became Brillansis. Unfortunately, Fargaze didn't live to see the day that her dream became a reality. A few months after the peace talks, she died, but her legacy still lives on, and posthumously she became the first Eminence of Brillansis.
