Blue Tulips

The Blue Tulips were founded not long after the Rending, and at the beginning, it was just a thieves’ guild. Because we are talking about a thieves’ guild, the guild did not keep records about its members then. Not even about the leadership of the guild. Current rumors have it that the first leader of the guild was a young human female called Bridget. It is inconceivable that a wretched human formed and led a guild like the Blue Tulips.

The organization’s leadership is all-female, and many lower-ranking leaders are female too. That adds credibility to the rumor that the first leader of the guild was a female. The head of the organization is called the matriarch, and those directly report to her are the dowagers.

After the formation and the chaos that followed the cataclysm, the guild underwent many changes. They were mercenaries, a religious sect following the Savior Gods. They even dabbled in the occult, but what almost caused their downfall was that they started to work as assassins. This was quite profitable until one of their jobs was to kill one of the lupian chieftains, and the lupians caught the assassin. The outrage among the lupian was huge, and they declared war against the Blue Tulips. Luckily for the Tulips, one of their members, a female bugbear, Hirgurr, used one of the traditions of the lupian against them and defeated three of their chieftains in single combat, proving, that the Tulips were the dominant tribe.

After her feat, Hirgurr was elected as the new matriarch of the Blue Tulips. She reorganized the guild, ending their previous activities and moving towards more of a political organization to have more and more influence in Tacillia. Nowadays, the Blue Tulips have some power in the greater nations, most notably among the lupian tribes.
The Tulips will be a problem sooner than later
