Pickton Community
When humans first established an outpost on Chigon IV, the locals were very excited. Humans dominate mollug popular culture, and that humans would actually dwell among them was a very exciting thought to mollugs. So it was not surprising that a loose mollug community would form near the human settlement.
As is custom among mollugs, there are very few permanent structures compared to the population. The great majority of mollugs live out of doors in the swamps. Many family groups or individuals will have a wind break made of natural materials, but few live in something a human would call a house.
Aside from the broadcast tower and its attached studioes, the permanent structures in the community are primarily for either storage or business fronts. In either case, they follow typical mollug buildings and are rather bland block structures, though considerably larger than humans, due to the large size of mollug bodies.
Though not publically known, Pickton Community is the focal point of Q'Dari manifestations on Chigon IV. It is likely that if individuals with Q'Dari abilities became known, violence would ensue. In a community of less than 300 individuals, one murder is alarming, and half a dozen would be disastrous.
Infrastructure
Pickton Community is primarily a fashion district, showcasing the latest mollug adaptations of human fashions. As with any semi-permanent mollug community, it is possible to access experts in local environment, largely with the purpose of creating individual food ponds.
Pickton also has a holo broadcast site, with the express purpose of showcasing interactions with humans and displaying the current fashions.
History
Pickton is a very recent community, formed only fifteen years ago. It was founded near the human colony of New Charlotte specifically to have proximity to humans.
Geography
Pickton is in a marsh, surrounded on two sides by the grassy hills where New Charlotte was formed.
